Yeah, I keep thinking about going that route. I haven't made up my mind yet. I mean, I hope I get into one of the Clarions, but if I don't, I can just not replace the laptop. What I have isn't reliable enough to use as my only computer, but it's ok for what little I usually ask it to do.
(Yes, I'm rooting for one of the Clarions to accept me, not just because it'll be an incredible learning experience, but so that I'll also have a good excuse to buy a laptop...)
